Focke Wulf 190 A 8, Luftfahrt Museum Laatzen (Deutschland)

Eine aus mehreren Wracks sowie den Hauptkomponenten einer Flug-Werk FW 190 aufgebaute A 8. Das soll diese großartige Leistung nicht schmälern, die von den ‘ Restauratoren’ vollbracht wurde. Ich habe sie mir in Hannover schon mehrfach angesehen und war immer wieder begeistert. Natürlich ist dies keine wirklich überlebende originale FW 190, aber der Gesamteindruck ist stimmig und dies ist die erste in Deutschland wiederauferstandene FW 190 überhaupt ! Die einzelnen Teile stammen hauptsächlich von Flug-Werk (Rumpf und Tragflächen),die anderen Originalteile (Vorderrumpf, Motor, Cockpitteile und Fahrwerk) kamen unter anderem aus Pardubice/Tschechien und aus dem Cheiner Moor bei Salzwedel.

Das Flugzeug wurde mit der Identität der "Gelben 11", Werknummer 170393, geflogen von Feldwebel Alfred Bindseil, 6./JG 1, Stormede, April 1944 versehen. Alles in Allem eine nicht zu unterschätzende Arbeit, die hier von dem Museum Laatzen vollbracht wurde. Die erste FW 190 in Deutschland, nunmehr seit 1999 in Laatzen zu bewundern.

An aircraft combined from several wrecks, the main componets were new build Flug-Werk parts as the main fuselage and the wings. This should not be understood as a critic against the Laatzen Museum, i am very happy and proud of the job they‘ve done here. The first FW 190 back in Germany in 1999, a real milestone for us aviation enthusiasts here in this poor country, where nearly every survivor plane of 1945 was vanished or ‘ transfered’ to the lucky winners ....Of course, not a real survivor regarding the facts, but the best one you could expect here in 1999 ! It look’s like there are some more to follow, best wishes from me for that ! For this reconstruction, additional three different wrecks were used, the front fuselage ,engine and part of the cockpit interiour and landing gear came from a wreck located at Pardubice/former Czechoslovakia and out of the Cheiner Moor in the vicinity of Salzwedel (Germany).

The aircraft got the identity of a former ‘ Yellow 11’, Werknummer 170393, flown by Alfred Bindseil, 6./JG1 Stormede, April 1944. All ihn all an amazing job, that was done by the Luftfahrtmuseum Laatzen. The first FW 190 back in Germany in 1999 !
